1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of brightstudy.org and related services provided by Easy Benefits Help LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the service is

BrightStudy is an information and referral service that surfaces publicly listed clinical research studies and, with your consent, emails you about research opportunities. It is free for participants.

3. Not medical advice, not a provider

BrightStudy is not a healthcare provider, research institution, study sponsor, clinical site, government program, nonprofit or medical-advice service. Content on this site is general information only and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed clinician. Never delay seeking medical care because of something you read here. Call your local emergency number in an emergency.

4. No guarantee of eligibility, enrollment or payment

Submitting an interest form is an expression of interest only. It does not mean you qualify for a study, that you are eligible, that you have been accepted, that you are enrolled, or that you will receive treatment or payment. The research site conducting a study determines final eligibility through its own screening and informed-consent process. Compensation, eligibility and study availability vary by study and are set by the sponsor or research site.

5. Accuracy of listings

Public study listings are sourced from ClinicalTrials.gov and are shown with the date we last checked them. Records can change between refreshes, and sponsors are responsible for the accuracy of what they post. Always read the original record and speak with the research site before making decisions.

6. Eligibility to use the site

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and not to submit information about another person without their permission.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, crawl at abusive rates, or attempt to bypass rate limiting.
• Do not submit false, automated or bulk form entries.
• Do not attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours.
• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or to harass anyone.

8. Email communications

You will receive marketing email only after you check the consent box and confirm your address through the link we email you. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or from the unsubscribe page, and we honor opt-outs immediately.

9. Commercial relationships

We may be paid by research sites, sponsors or recruitment partners for referrals or for advertising placements. Partner and sponsored placements are labeled. This does not create a cost to you and does not influence any eligibility decision, which is always made by the research site.

10. Intellectual property

The BrightStudy name, site design and original content are owned by Easy Benefits Help LLC. Public study data is provided by ClinicalTrials.gov and remains subject to its own terms.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Easy Benefits Help LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Easy Benefits Help LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes and termination

We may modify the service or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the version number and effective date above. We may suspend access for abuse or suspected fraud.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
